Great value easy process to sign up online

I had a wonderful experience with the staff, who were very attentive throughout the process. Initially, they contacted me by phone, and I completed my registration online, which went smoothly. I also changed my move-in date without any issues. I rented a 10x10 unit at a fantastic price. I apologize for forgetting the name of the young lady who assisted me; she was exceptional. We had a great time while checking out the unit, and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much during a visit to a storage facility. From our conversation, I learned that she works at this location as well as another nearby area.

They didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t honor the reservation

We made a reservation for outdoor parking — which requires in person presentation of registration and title. We showed up 2 days prior and they said they had rented the space out. I had spoken to two people after we made the reservation and they said our space would be held until our move in date. Clearly someone there decided otherwise. We had to find another space at another facility on short notice.

I found that moving into Public Storage was easy to do. I did all the paperwork online and got the passcode to the gate the morning of the move in. Everything went fine. I needed some help in opening the door of the unit and one of the employees personally helped me open it.

Cheap, but run-down

It's cheap, and you're getting cheap quality. Monthly rent using calendar months, not days from move in, which is against the norms of contracts, and is deceptive and abusive to customers. So be sure to move in on the 1st, not the 29th. They also force you to buy a $20 lock whether you want it or not, in addition to the administrative move in fee. The bathrooms were locked up well, but the gates to the storage units never closed. The walls between storage units are paper thin (and broken in my unit), so you'd better trust your neighboring units. There is lots of ventilation gaps on the top (so again, be sure you trust your neighboring units). Overall, very insecure, but you're probably storing used furniture, and nothing actually valuable. But on the plus side, the concrete floor was nice enough, no signs of flooding, fire, smoke or water damage. And I did see someone repairing the roof that day, so at least they put in some maintenance effort. There were a lot of busted up vehicles in the parking spaces. The paved roads between units were not well maintained and very bumpy. Overally, it had more of a "we cater to evicted drug addicts" atmosphere than a semblance of security, quality or cleanliness. I also never had to meet anyone to move in, which is nice in that it was minimal paperwork. But a little scary, like, does anyone ever even monitor the place?

The Storage units have large holes in the wall. Really Not acceptable!

Super responsive, efficient, and affordable

Just moved in this week to a 10x25' unit and couldn't be happier with my experience so far, including a date change and needing help organizing with my moving company.

Easy Peasy

Quick registration, just wish I had known in advance that I needed to bring my home owners policy declaration at registration. Other rental facilities have given a three day grace period to produce these.
