    Units in need of Repairs

We've been renting two 10'×20' units since June 7th 2024. Both units were dry and fairly clean when we started loading them. I visited the units on June 22nd 2024, it had been raining for quite a few days and it was raining when I arrived. Upon opening unit 107 I could see many wet boxes, I then looked up and the water was coming in at a steady rate along the support beams overhead and down some of the inside walls. I recorded and took still pics of rain/water activity coming in. I went into our neighboring unit, 106, it too had water leakage (not as bad. I contacted Ryan and he said to document, he also said that someone would come to see the damage and fix the problem. I took pics of more damage when the weather cleared, there is mold in unit 106. Our belongings are still in the units but with them being so large I have not been able to assess the total damage and won't be able to until we are able to empty them. Take note that I was only able to gain entry to about the first 10' of both units and I can't assume or rule out more damage. I was filming the ceiling as far back as I could and there was water coming in towards the middle and back. It stands to reason that we will be finding a lot of damaged property towards the back. Everything we own are in the two units. We were able to get our collection of guitars out which did sustain damage (I took photos while at the unit to document). Ryan, the gentleman that runs the facility is very kind (I would like that fact to be known).I spoke with him directly when I was there and it was happening. I can only hope that when we move out of the two units and assess the water damage that we and our property are treated fairly. As I stated, I spoke to him when and while I was first made aware of the situation and as it was actively happening. At the time and date of this review, January 5th 2025 we are still in use of both units and we still have not been able to gain access to most of either unit.

    Leaks

Rented 2 10'×20' units, they happen to be side by side (106&107). Less then 30 days into renting them I went to gather some things and found that both units were leaking from the rain. They were activity leaking while I was in them, I took video and stills of the leaking and damage that I could see, which was/is only about 8-10'in(remember they are 2p' in length. I have yet to get in to assess damage. They were going to come and "patch" but I didn't believe they have as there are fresh water drips on the rafters. Also noticed last week the the wall in between the two units is bending into our 2nd unit, there is nothing heavy on the shared wall in 106 that would cause it to push/bend into unit 107. The company did send me via email a claim form, but without being able to assess the entirety of both units I would not be able to give an accurate assessment damages. They were all so supposed to come and fix the roofing the following day or within a few days my report and I have not heard that they have and judging by the leaking they haven't. I also have to add that trying to reach Ryan who runs this facility is extremely difficult, 9 out of 10 times he does not return phone calls. We've been renting the two units since June 7th 2024, we're praying that we are able to get our property out as soon as possible at the same time extremely anxious about the damage that we more likely than not will find.
