Easy to enter facility. Lock was exactly where they said it would be. Will bring a light bulb for times that it might be getting dark!!

Love Public Storage

I had such a great experience with reserving my unit and the move in was relatively stress free. I love being able to access the facility by using my phone instead of always having to plug in the access code. Makes everything so much more user friendly, which is just what I need.

They were very accomodating.

Good but not great

the staff is great but the code buttons is not line up with my car I have to get out and hurry back in before the gate comes down then the pavement near the storage is not leveled for a car I have to climb out of my car.

Facility was neat and clean

Facility was neat and clean, your staff members very personal and answered all questions asked except for one> That questions was " do you give a military discount" ? Do you give a AARP discount to which the answer was no, but they couldn't say why it's not offered.

Clean and Affordable Storage

The young lady behind the counter was very polite. Being 84 y/o, it was comforting to know that I wasn't being pressured to purchase anything I didn't need. The facility was clean.

More difficult than it needs to be

Push to purchase insurance and lock not necessary. Auto generated emails with multiple links that aren't relevant much of the time. Just want to be given necessary information and not receive multiple emails and requests for reviews.

AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! I relocate every two to five years for work and a storage facility is critical to my success. However the most crucial when relocating is finding individuals to A.) work with you B.) help find what you need when you are not completely sure what that is and C.) happy to help a human out. Finding individuals who are happy to help is the most challenging...That's where the Clayton, NC Public Storage applies. Ms. Tonia was the Manager who helped recently and it was a pleasure to interface with her. Questions regarding rental options were answered promptly while taking time to make sure what I rented was what I needed. She made my life much easier that day. Outstanding individuals such as Ms. Tonia are the lifeblood of any flourishing business. I wish her well in her career and appreciate the great experience during a challenging move. This storage facility is secure and safe. They have made my move much easier and less stressful! Laura was very patient and answered all my questions; this was my first time using a storage facility and I've had a great experience. I will continue to use Public Storage if I ever move again :)

Customer service was great securing storage, however I had an lite situation on Moving day. Problem was rectified.

Clean and Organized

The Clayton NC location is clean orginized and has a friendly staff. Not only is the office area and the units clean but the grounds are as well. The staff has been great to work with as well.

Great service and at a nice rate!

Having dealt with "public" storage facilities in the past, I was delighted by my experience in reserving, reviewing and booking my storage unit. I was impressed with the security of the "compound." Very nice staff and the monthly rate was less than I've paid in the past and $60 less per month, than another storage facility just down the street.

Good experience

Working with the office manager was a mostly pleasant experience. He explained everything in detail. When I signed up online, I was not made aware of the required insurance which increased my cost more than anticipated. It was not the manager's fault but should be included in the website information. The site is clean, well maintained, and secure and the unit I rented was excellent. I highly recommend Public Storage but be prepared to pay the insurance unless your homeowners insurance includes off site storage.

Excellent service

We had a great experience and excellent service from Laura ( Clayton NC). The unit was exactly what we need , and the account was created in minutes. We liked the personal code option at the gates, and the nice location of the site.

Public Storage

Hi, please get a card reader for the main gate. Very much a PIA to type in a 6 or 7 digit code especially when you can't reach the keypad. Please issue a proximity card like we use to get into our facility at work or a swipe card similar to how hotel chains do. If you are trying to leave the keypad there for others to enter who weren't issued a card then just have both (keypad and proximty card reader)
