Watch your bills--they'll be thru the roof if you don't

The Stallings facility is fab: great staff, great off-site manager, clean, well lit, auto-access works perfectly. The prob is with corporate: They increased my monthly charge about 30%!!!!! It appears they use dynamic pricing. My response: Is it OK for an airline to increase your fare when you're at the gate or on the plane? This is similar, though of course they have the right based on the contract, no doubt. When I called to ask what I'm getting for the extra $50/month, they quoted policy that they change rental fees based on demand. That's fine for new customers; but when I made my decision to rent with them, it was based on price. "It's policy" that they offer no refunds when I didn't notice the upcharges--HINT: Don't sign up for autopay; "It's policy" that they can't forward a dated email that shows me when they told me of the change; "It's policy" that the first rep you talk to says 3 times, "my manager will tell you the same thing I'm telling you" (not true. I made the tiniest bit of progress with the manager). "It's policy" that they'll increase their fees based on demand, but not reduce them based on demand. It's notable that the webrate today is drastically less than what I was paying--so looks like they have too much inventory. That flips dynamic pricing on its head. Instead of using it to encourage buying, they use it to ensure their current clients make up the costs for when they can't get their storage facilities full.

Go to Indian Trail

I gave it a 4 because Charles from Indian Trail was very helpful. He left his facility because whoever runs this one "left early" (it was 3:30/4 and they are supposed to stay open until 6) with no replacement. If Charles hadn't helped I would have gave it a 1.

Location as promised

Good location, easy entry. Parking was open and spot for the RV was acceptable. Convenient to where we will be living.

I just moved in last week, but so far, so good. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I arrived just a few minutes before closing. Nonetheless, the attendant, Kyle, was cordial and helpful in getting us signed up and showing us the facility.

Kyle is excellent: pleasant, enthusiastic, and could not be more helpful.

Clean, organized, user-friendly. Available cart is very handy. Too many emails. Hard to find (address is not exactly accurate). Insurance is not necessarily necessary and is off-putting.
