Insurance is required per the rental agreement and may be added to the monthly cost. If you need self storage or secure file storage in the Wendover Road, Monroe Road section of Charlotte, NC, American Store & Lock on Wendover road in Charlotte has the best storage units available. This facility like all of the American Store & Locks in Charlotte are family owned and has been helping Charlotte residents with storage solutions for over 25 years. Our manager, Gary has been with us over 10 years and he is a self storage expert. American Store & Lock 1221 N Wendover Road is one block south from Monroe road on Wendover. Across the street from Home Depot in the same Parking lot with Habitat for Humanity. We heard a rumor that George Washington may have slept near hear . The best little storehouse on Wendover Road. Come see for yourself. We have KFC & McDonalds close by Mmmmmm. Regular,De-Humidfied and Climate Controlled Storage. Come by and take a tour of our facility. We have a Resident Manager,24-7 Access,Its Fenced In and Well Lit, Plus, 24-7 Video Monitoring. We have a large variety of Locks, Boxes and other moving supplies with the best price in town. Gary has a 10 discount on Locks, Boxes and all other moving supplies. Come by and let us give you a grand tour of our great facility.

    Everything was good but pricing.

    Very good customer service. Wish the pricing was better, but the lady who helped me got me a good discount for the first 4 months.

    Best storage yet

    $70 a month (initially $80 with admin fee etc.) -- insurance and 5x5 unit. 24/7 access. Clean enough. Heated and cooled. $50 would be a cheap price point, $60 more fair. $70 is about as much as I'll pay. Assistant manager was very kind. The best customer service I've ever had in a storage place.

    The best thing that came out of this experience is the customer service. The lady named Kim at the Wendover location. she made everything very easy for me to get started. I only regret having to move out within the first week of my storage contract and not being able to get the payment pro-rated

    Outstanding Management and Value

    I have rented twice from this facility for a total of about 2 years. In all of that time, Gary and Kim were always helpful and jovial. The service they gave was beyond expectation and half the benefit of being a renter at this location was enjoying their terrific personalities! The location was conveniently just south of center-Charlotte and I loved having 24-hr access. I always felt safe due to staff living above the office next to the gate. This was the best storage facility I have used!
