2 Surprises to Share

The first surprise was with the customer service representative. He told me about the promotional fee at 1/2 off the monthly rent for the first month. This came to $33.38. I asked "several times" what was the total monthly cost to rent a 10X10 space for the first month and then the consecutives months and each time the representative said " the first month was 1/2 off as a promotion that was all". I checked in to Cubesmart with a rental truck full of furniture and a reservation number. At this time I was told that their is a administration fee of $29.00 and protection plan of $16.00 which in review does not cover much of anything for me example mold and mildew just protects Cubesmart. Now the total cost came to the promotional cost of $78.38 for the first month. The second month will be $66.75 and of course $16.00 for the protection plan. The protection plan becomes optional if you hand carry to the administration office a Declaration page of your personal insurance. Second month can cost 66.75 plus a different Administration fee and Protection plan fees arriving to $82.75. The second surprise was just how clean the building is. With that said I felt overall that Cubesmart has a product worth considering but I also feel knowing what they are pulling over on you at the sign in day is worth taking more time to find alternative area to put your personal possessions. You can be assured that I will share my Cubesmart experience with all my friends!

Very clean unit, very helpful staff

We were pleased with how clean our unit was when we moved in. The staff was very helpful thru all steps of the process.
