Public Storage - Geneva - 1040 E State Street

Great place to store by belongings until I move to a permanent address.

Everyone I talked to about Public Storage was helpful, informative and friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone who needs temporary storage.

Good but...

Overall a good experience so far. The only negative is the requirement to be there in person to finalize rental. I needed to rent a unit for my sister in law to store items from her parents estate. While she's paying the bill, I still need to be listed as the primary renter. She lives 800 miles away and it's totally inconvenient for her to drive 1600 miles round trip just to change her to primary. It shouldn't be that hard.

Easy and convenient

The move-in was great and everything worked as I thought it would with the key and the code; the manager called to see if I needed any help and how my move-in went. I really appreciated that!

Never have I had a more enjoyable experience renting a storage unit. Raven checked me out and she was sensational! I don't think even people working at Disney are this cheerful and friendly!! As far as the actual units - they are extremely clean and well secured. You need an access code to open the gate to even get into the storage unit area and they monitor all the comings and goings as well as provide insurance on your items. Very impressed and satisfied.

This has been a great location to store my furniture in. The property is clean, and the staff are friendly. Raven was able to help me transfer into a larger unit, and made the process very easy.

They were always nice and helpful. The manager was especially great! The prices are fair. It's a little hard to get out of. When you leave you cannot turn left, only right. Other than that excellent customer service!!

The duty manager Agui was amazing. She was polite and very knowledgeable about the facilities and answered all my questions. The facilities themselves are top notch. Would recommend

The service was the best,provided all the information and explained in a friendly,professional way.The space was clean and even had a light bulb with pull chain , I would recommend to a friend or neighbor. The only negative was I came back at night and could not see anything it was pitch black,I came back on next load brought a flash light

I reserved the space online and was pleased there was a follow-up phone call the next day. When I was greeted at the site, I was impressed with the competence and professionalism of the Site Manager, Chris. Everything was explained to me and Chris answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I found the site and storage space clean and well-maintained.
