Very Nice Experience

My past storage rental facility, Public Storage of Walnut Creek, just kept raising and raising my fees. What was first $271 per month, went to $388 per month, finally ended at $475 per month! Although the onsite manager was very nice and helpful, their facility was easily burglarized on dozens of occasions including my space in Nov. 2018. Now about Storage Quest. They are allowing me to pay 12 months in advance, thereby locking in the rental fee. The manager, Cynthia, was really nice and helpful. My space is slightly more difficult to get to, but the cost and location far outweigh this issue. The parking and loading area are a little small with room for only 8 vehicles at a time. They ask you to get-in and get-out to help with this, which I will always try to do. So far, so good. I am so happy to be done with Public Storage.

Service and facility is very good.

Some difficulty in parking 25’ box truck due to vehicles parked in no parking areas, but everyone was helpful in moving their vehicles when asked to do so. Front office was professional, restrooms were very clean, and COVID restrictions were adhered too by all staff.

I'm new to the facility as a client.

Everything here works just like it’s supposed to. Its clean, the staff is helpful, and access is easy. My old storage unit was poorly lit which actually made it extremely frustrating to find anything! This one is well lit. It’s also nice there’s a bathroom available.

I am very pleased with this storage facility. I really did my homework when I started looking for a storage unit. The prices are very fair compared to most of the places I saw. The facility is very clean. The gal at the front desk was very helpful. I rented a 10x10 and then another 5x7, she worked hard finding both spaces on the same floor. Over all I’m extremely happy with my choice.

The facility is brand new, clean and safe. The manager of the facility quickly got back to me after receiving my online reservation. She was professional and friendly. On move-in day the process was easy, clear and super smooth

Everything is great except for the issue if the"required" insurance coverage. That was a cost that was not indicated in the website. The employee was wearing a mask so it was difficult too hear. While in the hallway we were informed that the insurance would be an extra$4 a month. We added $4 to the$95 in our head and verbally agreed that the price was still going to be under$100. When we were back in the office we were informed it was$12/month. The employee denied telling us it was$4 was emphatic that$12 is the lowest insurance but if you have homeowners insurance or renters insurance that covers items outside the home then the$12 is waived. Again if that was started in the website I would have brought that. I felt that it was a hidden cost and not being fourth coming.

Brand new, affordable, and hospitable.

We lucked out finding this place as we had no idea that it had just been built. It is built into a hill so all units are underground and indoor which keeps things cool. Check in process was streamlined and pleasant. Lastly, since they are trying to fill up the units, prices are good until they do so. Thanks SpareFoot!
